Following the success of the 2022 Special Issue in "Advances in Sample Preparation" (SAMPRE), the new Open Access Elsevier Journal. devoted to Green Sample Preparation, a second Special Issue: Green Sample Preparation 2023 is launched, scheduled to appear beginning of 2023. With this special issue our community demonstrates its strong commitment towards accelerating transition to a sustainable future Authors are invited to submit original high-quality research articles, reviews, opinions and tutorials aligned with the 10 principles of Green Sample Preparation.

To ensure that all manuscripts are correctly identified for inclusion into the special issue, it is important that authors select VSI:GreenSamplePrep2023 when they reach the “Article Type” step in the submission process. Please note that the editorial process will be following the same standards as regular submissions. Before submitting a manuscript, please check that your contribution is aligned to the aims and scope of the journal.
